“I knew I loved Julie’s photography from the moment I started browsing through her website. But my fiance and I were more than a little nervous about hiring a photographer, because we were planning an elopement: just us and an officiant. We wanted photos as keepsakes, but wondered if it might feel weird to have a stranger taking pictures of us throughout a very intimate day.

I am delighted to share that it was the complete opposite of weird! Julie is so warm, kind, and inviting, and made us feel incredibly comfortable. She was also super flexible, trekking out with us in the morning to take photos by a river before joining us later to hike up a mountain for the ceremony (in 95-degree Arizona summer heat, no less). She’s the epitome of professionalism and grace, and came up with lots of creative ways to capture what was basically just two people standing on a hill watching the sun set 🙂

And of course, not only did we feel great–our photos ROCK. I was speechless when I saw them. Julie managed to capture all the little moments and the big beautiful sky and everything in between. She made us look amazing while also letting our personalities shine through loud and clear. And she sent us hundreds of images, carefully and beautifully edited, and honestly, all worth framing–I’m having trouble choosing which ones to print!
